I thinkthat is not the first time that this question comes but I trie : in my TIA WinCC Advanced I receive severals tags as word and I like to convert these words to 16 individually boolean tags. Is there a simple way to do thisconversion?

Thank for your reply.

A S7 CPU writes 16 separate alarms (bits) in words in a DB. These words are send to the WinCC V11 Advanced where these word-tags are used to created alarms (16x triggers in each word).

After the WinCC I have another alarm-reporting software that can communicate with WinCC with an OPC DA or AE (Alarm & Events).

The OPC DA (Data Acces) is standard in WinCC Advanced but NOT the OPA AE . The OPC AE is delivered with the Professional version.

My application (and also budget) is too small to buy the upgrade to an Professional version .

So I like to explode these tag-words in several bits and use the DA OPC the other software can read OPC DA).

I would to keep the words from CPU to WinCC.
