I searched the forum but couldn't find anything on this particular issue.

I have a customer that is reporting that when they touch a button it actuates a button 50mm to the right. They are working around this by installing a usb mouse for the time being. They were asked to recalibrate the touch function but reported that it did not change.

This same issue happened approximately 1 month ago, the engineer that 'fixed' this issue is no longer here. It was reported second hand that he re-compiled the program and then re-downloaded the screen. How could this possibly take care of the problem? I haven't tried this yet, we are setting up the remote access and I will try, but I fail to see how this may help.

Anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone here before?

Can anyone point me to the manual that contains instructions to re-calibrate the touch?

Hello Mike,

I guess your customer had not performed correctly calibration procedure.

The problem with calibration procedure is the last step: there is a long instruction text that tells you that you have to touch display within 20 secondes. But it needs more than 20 seconds to understand what this text méans and during this time calibration procedure ends procedure without action.

So try procedure and touch display at the end.
