I was stucked in G120 Commissioning. I am using Control unit CU250s-2pn.The problem was when I am giving 24V External supply to Terminal 31 and 32 first and then if I switch on the input power to power mode the control unit was not getting booted its showing Fault F30022. If I removed the external 24v from control unit and then if I switched on input power to power mode the control unit going to ready mode its not showing any fault. why this is happening and how to rectify this problem I don’t know.

Please give some valuable suggestion…

Hi, this is a legacy issue from the Micromaster "days".

We used to see F0022 (same meaning as F30022) when connecting an auxilliary 24VDC on the Profibus Modules as opposed to the terminals made available. This was only on the larger Fx and Gx powerstack sizes though.

What is the FULL part number of the Power Module (PM240 or PM250) this device is connected to?

If it is the larger frame size of power stack, there should be some terminals on the PM (X9, lower left) where you should instead connect your external 24VDC to.
