I was fighting with flowchart drawing programs, because my boss wants to improve our machine documentations. I was able to convince him to use spreadsheets. Kahl, It is good that the spreadsheet idea works for you guys. You did see the sample file in the 1st attachment? I use spreadsheet intensively, espcially when processing messages to/from HMIs. Spreadsheets works very well for To Do Lists. If ever you want to do the flow chart thing.. there is an add-on available that makes flow charting much easier to do on M$ Office Excel. Otherwise there are x2 other products I could suggest.. but you will have to ask per Private Message for detail. Greetings. w

Sadly, this program still needs work........................................ * What will make the machine stop?... reset allow_run? * What will happen if I press START while the machine is busy with a cycle? * Network 4 is going to cause an issue * Network 11 & 13 ..why the positive latch? ..why the 1sec pulse? * If "allow_run" is OFF, would that mean we can ignore the stop sensors? I am not going to be able to do a full analysis without writing the program for you. So from here on forward I can wish you only "Good Luck!". w
