Acknowlege problems

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	I'm having trouble to acknowlege my descrite alarms on my MP touch 8" (dont remember the model now). I have tried both to use the "Acknowlege HMI" where I choose an tag and specifie witch bit I want to use för ACK. And now I'm using "SetBit" under Acknowlege. The code in the PLC S7 315 2DP program is like this: NW1 A "trigger" 1.0 S "Alarm" M10.0 NW2 AN "trigger" I1.0 A "Acknowlege" M20.0 R "Alarm" M10.0 R "Acknowlege" M20.0 The problem I have is that sometimes the OP-panel shows that i have choosen Acknowlege but the alarm is not gone. And beacuse I already have choosen Ack I can no longer do it again, whitch mean that I can't set the M20.0 because thats what I'm doing when I choose Ack in tha OP-panel. Mostly It works but sometimes this has happened. If I set and reset the alarm several times on the panel, I suddenly manage to create the fault after 5-10 attempts. Someone who know why? Or have an better way to acknowlege? But I still would like to know why this happen...

Could it be because I push the ACK-butten a short time and the PLC never catch it?

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	I have now spooken with Siemens Support but they didn´t really have any answers. I sent them my project and there was nothing wrong with my project. Now when I simulate I can see that the alarm occurs if I acknowlege the alarm so it says "CA" on the panel. Then if I remove the alarm and then very quickly (within milliseconds or at least as fast as I can) turn it on again, and then again remove it, the alarm is gone but I cant acknowlege again because the panel thinks that it has already ackowleged, but the truth is that the alarm has gone away and then very quickly come back for a short time. Anyone understand what I am talking about? I would like to know how the PLC and the WinCC-panel is comunicating? I know how Siemens S7 is working, but not how it works toghether with WinCC. In the cycle i mean... /Pontus
