Hi all, PCS7 V8.0 SP1 Simatic Manager V5.4+SP3+HF4 PLCSim V5.4 SP5 Up1 In PCS7 you are able to connect signals directlyfrom one AS to another AS as long as the signal is in a 200ms OB or greater. This creates the netpro connection between the two AS's and all other requirements etc. this works fine between actual AS's but replace these with PLCSim and the results are not the same. Is it possible for the same setup to exist with PLCSim? Or does one need to follow the guidelines below: How do you simulate communication between two CPU modules? When attempting a netpro download of the ASs's while using plcsim the following errors occur (see attachment) Thanks for your help Cheers Cammo |

Hello, Download the sample in the link and test it in STEP 7 mode via PLCSIM.In my point view, that should be possible in PCS 7 platform to exchange data via S7-Connection.It is possible to imitate the whole procedure but you need to read the following manual:
PCS 7 Programming Instructions for Blocks I hope this helps, Hamid Hosseini |
