Sachin Bondre Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear All, on site there is large display for showing scrap weight in ton.on this display the maximum weight showing in three digits.I want to send integer value ex.999. but as per there manual (page no.4) i need to send the value in bytes. Please find the details below. Control Construction of the data telegram For the transmission of the data the DP-Slave can be configured to following block sizes: 1 - 32 byte or 1 - 32 words This has to be inputted separately for the input- and output data. Command telegram Presentation of the values “10.4” send telegram: byte 0 (1. segment) (value ”blank”) = 0F hex byte 1 (2. segment) (value ”1”) = 01 hex byte 2 (3. segment) (value “0” and decimal point) = 80 hex byte 3 (4. segment) (value “4”) = 04 hex For reply you will receive the “echo” of the sent telegram. receipt telegram: byte 0 (1. segment) (value “blank”) = 0F hex byte 1 (2. segment) (value “1”) = 01 hex byte 2 (3. segment) (value “0” and decimal point) = 80 hex byte 3 (4. segment) (value “4”) = 04 hex Ident-no.: 3104 hex Kind of protocoll: DP-Protocoll For each segment (starting on top left) you need one byte for the data and the decimal point. In each byte will be need the bit 7 for the controlling of the decimal point, which is on the right side of the digit.
