Hello My name is Kayhan I am new on PLC and I have a problem to program PLC. My PLC is CPU 313C and I want to use timer for 2000h. Could you help please ? Thanks. |

Use a timer with 1 hour. If have elapsed, a pulse to a counter, which counts up to 2000. |

Dear Kayhan, you should use a retentive timer. Check out how to create a retentive timer in S7-300: How do you program a timer that retains the time value at STOP and counts on starting at the stored value? Check out following link for the timers that can be used: How can you measure the time? I suggest you use runtime meters if accuracy isn't that important. Those can count up to 32767 hours. Dear Kayhan, what do you mean? You cannot open the file? Or do you want some guidance on how to use this FB? If it's some guidance on how to use the function, you should first take a look at the table which describes how to parametrize the FB:
So you call this function block and connect it to an instance DB, then parametrize it according to your program requirements. Kind regards, Jens |

Dear Jens_app I am so sorry, I can not open file. I added file. Can you help me ? Firstly I opened the program such as photo 1 then I click File>Retrieve, then I selected the file that you have posted such as photo 2 then I selected the s7proj to save photo 3 then photo 4 is comming I clicked ok but end photo is such as photo 5. Dear Kayhan, Check out following thread to resolve your language issue: Cannot open Step 7 project because of language Next try extracting the project to a known path (for example "C:\Project\") then open simatic manager -> in the top bar, go to File -> Open -> Press Browse... -> go to the path were you extracted the project -> select the project and press OK. Dear Kayhan, I don't think thatisnecessary, mine is set in english and it works fine. I have only heard of this problem, but I haven't encountered it myself. I'd try following step:
