Hi sah676, VMware Workstation does not support every USB 3.0 capable chipset. See this article here for more details: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1025956. To enable the PC adapter inside your VM you can try a different USB port. USB 3.0 is usually with a blue part inside, where as USB 2.0 has a black part. If your Laptop has only USB 3.0 you can try an aditional PC-Card (like PC-Express to USB), that only supports USB 2.0. ...or finally wait for improved support for USB 3.0 from VMware. xnor |
