Assignment ( a:=b ) is somehow like to access the ACC1.It is not possible to line by line convert the STL codes to SCL equivalent. The point here is to convert the same idea/task into SCL.For your task, you simply access a cell in a DB based on byte number with less troubles:

In brief, indirect addressing is much easier in SCL compared to STL.
