www.opauto.no Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hi. I have 2 problems with an 948 CPU. Issue 1: Cannot communicate via PG interface. Tryed to insert PG submodule without any luck. Still no coms. SHutdown PLC, removed backup battery so the CPU is totaly erased. CPU works fine. Issue 2: If i try to download the Program from the CPU: is the CPU ok or is it suffering from Memory corruption ? Someone ? RGDS Oystein.

Did you look at PLC info in Step5? "Issue 2: If i try to download the Program from the CPU:" I think there is a statement missing here... "is the CPU ok or is it suffering from Memory corruption ?" If the PLC has been in a humid or harsh environnement, it is a possibility..

Issue 1: Cannot communicate via PG interface: Tryed to insert spare PG submodule without any luck to establising coms to CPU. If i switch of the powersupply and restart the PLC, everything is ok again. Issue 2: If i try to transfer the program from the CPU to PG. PLC goes into stop acessing an specific block example DX 119. If i backup around the corrupted block, everything goes fine. However this fault occurs suddenly without any work in the specific block. Compressing the memory will not solve the problem either. Anyone experienced the same ? Someone ? RGDS Oystein.
