Blank screen and flashing lights mstt panel

alexmac_uk Posts: 118 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have a customer with a 5 axis CNC machine, the screen will not boot up and all lights are flashing on the mstt panel. It's a Siemens 840d controller. 611u drives. Any ideas??

I only took out metal clamp that press chip from the picture and it start to work! ( it is placed on left side of main procesor on PCU50 motherboard) I was lucky to find it so easy ! and asit works now, I have time to make backups ;) I just wonder if it is necessery to make bga re-ball or just re-heat ? good luck Attachment DSC_0305.jpg (234 Downloads)
