tbb403 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	hello, Is itin the mobile panel 170 or 177 a secret menu (for activation keys) to activate the calibration screen view? What do we do when a screen is not calibrated and we can not even go to the view (transfer, start, control panel) thank you

tbb403 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello It's not correct for me. I explain me: I have in my factory a lot of MP170 and MP177 to maintain. I have a MP170 for spare and another one MP177. I have backuped all the hmi with memory cards. If there is a problem in an HMI i want that any person wich is not expert can transfert the program hmi to the spare and replace it in a short time. In the case the transfert is ok, for some reasons, the touchscreen is not correct. but to calibrate it, i have to touch a button before... named'control panel'... You show what i mean ..? How to touch a button when the touchscreen is not calibrate ? For me it's really a problem. thanks for your response.

Hello tbb403, in case touchscreen is not properly calibrated, there are 2 ways to calibrate. 1.) Generally when calibration is not correct, you will have an offset to real touch position. You can find out this offset by touching around the position. Normally this offset will not be so large and not more than 1 cm in any direction. Once you know the offset, you can open open menu for calibration by not pressing button directly, but with offset. This can be done by less experienced stuff with a little training. 2.) If offset is too large to find it, you still have the possibility to reset to factory settings (touch panels come out of factorycalibrated). That could only be done by experienced person only. regards

Thanks for all Just one idea, that came into my mind: You could call calibrate function by a script. The script could be triggered by a bit, which you set in PLC. And this bit could be activated by a key-switch that comes as DI to your PLC. Thus if the operator has the key, he could activate the calibrate function. regards
