how to use timer current value in s5 timer

tushu Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	hello friends i am working on step 7 400 PLC i am doing a application in that i need to compare timer value for example if TV is s5t#15s then i want motor will on when timer current value is between 5 and 10. i am unable to compare timer current value. plz guide me. thanks

Compare the binary or BCD (after conversion) outputs of the timer and compare them while you should consider the resolution. Personally , I prefer the 1st one because it is more clear and easy to accomplish.Check a sample here: How to call a parameter within a timer function of SCL for Comparision in Step7 V5.5 I hope these commments help you! It is a type issue.For that you can use STL or in LAD/STL/FBD editor try options-->customize-->LAD/FBD-->Remove type check of addresses.In this case you can compare values with same width and different types.
