MPI connection for TP177B

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Import of a Technical Question of the User DShailendra DShailendra we have one S7 PLC configured for MPI so that I can connect Laptop to check the program online. this is working fine. Now I want to connect one HMI (may be TP177B, that will be decided later) to make a new HMI for diagnosis. can you please help me how to make MPI connection between CPU and HMI.one profibus DP connector is already installed on CPU.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	Use Profibus connector for HMI. Use a connector with PG - port, so you can connect PG / Notebook onto the plug as well. Attachment pgbuchse.jpg (165 Downloads)
