Analog input problem

malbec Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	I work with analog input moduleAI8x13Bit (6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0). I have 2 devices connected to channels 0 & 1. The first one is a 4-wire 4-20mA device and the second is 2-wires 4-20mA. I connected it exactly as explained in the manual. I can read channel 0 ok, but channel 1 gives me a negative resault. only when i disconnect the channel 0 input, the reading in channel 1 is ok. Do they need to have the same common signal or is it that every channel is by itself? Do I need to config something in the hardware configuration for a 2-wire and 4-wire? (there are both configured for 4-20mA)

Are both sensors at the same power supply ? Perhaps you can attach a drawing how things are connected? Regards, Marcjan

malbec Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	I don't have a drawing. I need to make sure they are on the same power supply. Also I have 5 KTY sensors connected to the same module. Can that be a problem? Are there any limitations for connecting different sensors to the same module?

suresh mithra Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	hello, make sure that both the negtives of the CH0 & CH1 are isolated. module negetive point should be connect with CH1 negetive point.
