It is often very handy to compare S120 drive parameters from different projects. The technique you've described only works for drives in the same project.

Here is a better solution: Open the Expert list for the drive. Click on the Binoculars (Extended Search). Click on the button in the lower left hand corner of the Extended Search pop up <Save Search Result>. You'll get a new dialog asking for how to save... Select the bottom radio button for an executable script. Allow for some time.. and hit cancel for the TXT file it tries to create. A script file will open for the Drive you've just selected. This script file can be compared using the MSExcel spreadsheet attached. Enter the script results of Drive 1 in Column A and Drive 2 in Column B and press the Compare button. The results appear on Sheet two.
