I'm going to configure project with comfort panel TP1200. I'd like to create my user defined help button where operator works as below

1. Press (activate) inputField_1

2 Press another button (called HELP), help info will pop up

it's more or less as Siemens's tool tip. but problem with tool tip is that it always pop up everytime when that field is activated and it has to be closed by pressing on small x there. I think it's not that user friendly.

So, I try to make my own button that it can show help when I really need it and able to close it easily.

Now by using script, I can read out the item (inputField_1) then I will know which text I will display but as I made it by put in string. It's not sosmart and might confuse when I have so many field.

Can I work in a waythat I can read out information in "Tool tip" ofobject (inputField_1)?

and display in on string output field ? somehow..

do you mean I can find "Help_text" field in HMIRuntime structure ?

I have further question. In case my input field is part of faceplate, Can I still access to tool tip info of object in faceplate?

In other word, can I access to items in faceplate over HMIRuntime ?
