Upgrading project to V13 SP1 changes parameters

adam_ski Bronze Member Joined: 4/9/2010 Last visit: 7/4/2025 Posts: 236 Rating: (34)	After recent upgrade to V13 SP1 the following parameters changed: HMI connection interface changed from ETHERNET to Softbus Access node type: File does not exist anymore As a result, PLC doesn't communicate with HMI and I can't transfer the HMI file to PC with Runtime. As a workaround, I start runtime on my laptop which creates file I can transfer to the PC with Runtime. This works (sort of) but I can't change Softbus back to ETHERNET. For now, I uninstalled SP1 until someone helps me figure out what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you. Attachment TIA_V13_SP1.pdf (324 Downloads)

Install SP1 again and then install Update 1 for SP1. After that, try again upgrading your system. With Update 1 some bugs with the HMI are fixed. 2. If it furthermore don't work you can try creating new PC-Station with RT-Advanced, Draw the HMI Connection and Copy all your screens, messages, Tags and so on, from the old to the new PC-Station 3. Send your project to customer support for analyzing. BR

Unfortunately, my priorities changed abruptly and I have postpone the test :-( UPDATE 1: reinstalling SP1 with Update 1 fixed the problems. Thank you both! Adam
