I have got a similar problem, but I am not able to put the DTL variable into WR_SYS_T function.
When I click to pick up the input variable, the dot is automatically conected to the end. I cannot delete it so the variable is viewed as red. I dont know what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

Step 7 V11 sp2 up5

Select your tag with the extra dot. Right arrow one time. Hit the backspace button and it will delete the period. Then click ok.

Don't hit enter. Click somewhere away from the tag.
