Hi Experts,

I get a diagnostic error after upgrading my program from V12 SP1 to V13 SP1 and downloading it to CPU 1214C v4.0. It was perfectly fine before when I was using an older PLC firmware version and V12 SP1 and I did change the PLC firmware configuration to v4.0 before I did the download. All of the functions work fine but I still get an error LED. The description of the error doesn't tell much so I'm not sure of what to do. Here are the details of the error:

Event ID: 16# 06:0022

Error: Diagnostics available and is being processed

 PC110939_PLC1 / PC110939_PLC1.Port_1

Incoming event

The description in the "Help on event" is a bit different but doesn't help much also:

Help on event 0006:0022

Description

A submodule is available again, but with diagnostics pending. The precise cause has not yet been identified.

Remedy

Use "Open in editor" to determine the exact causes.

 Now when I open in editor, it redirects me to the CPU device view window, and when I go to the diagnostics tab under properties, it just says refer to device diagnostics.

can anyone help me on this?

I don't have a solution I'm afraid but I do have the same problem on 6 plc's. The last machines I used this program on were pre SP1 update and were OK but since SP1 I have this fault. Any help would be much appreciated. Screen shot added.

Hello,

normaly this message means that a IO-Device is returned to the BUS and have a peripherial error on a submodul.

In the Screenshot in the second post you see the HW ID which set the diagnostic, so look in your project which device is connected to the Port2 of you X1 Interface and have the HW ID 66.

This device you must diagnostic.
