The position that you have circled is correct, 

you can also look oh the front connector e.g. 6ES7 392-1AM00-0AA0 and you will find the number:

The circled terminals are not used in the module in question.

In OUTPUT modules these are used for +24V supply which supplies each group of outputs.

This way some outputs can be supplied at all times (for example these driving indication lamps)

and others are supplied when E-Stop is not operated ONLY (for example these driving actuators,

solenoids, etc.)

in this case You should leave these terminals not connected.

In the INPUT module (SM321) it is not necessary to power with +24 Vdc, where you've marked the red circles (1,11,21,31) usually this terminal is for + 24Vdc. Almost all DI modules except the 6ES7 321-7BH01-0AB0 that have Hardware and Diagnostic Interrupt this must be powered to terminal 1 and if I remember correctly even someone else

for the DI32 yes is useless.

Show on tme SM322 32 DO then this connectors not useless

for both Signalmodules you use the same front connector.
