We had tried basic diode test but IGBTs look normal . Is there any test box/ test kit available to test the IGBTs or firing boardof MM430. Regards Saqir

Hi, yes, there is a Sinamics Powerblock test box which can also be used for Micromaster Fx & Gx Drives.

From the A&D Mall:

But before making the investment, make sure that the Control Board is seated correctly on the CIB, this can be found under the I/O module behind the plastic cover.

I would also extract the powerblock and have a good look at the IGBT board in case there is a visible problem there.

Pull out the fibre-optic connectors and make sure the centre LED's are on for each phase.

Otherwise, enjoy the test box.

CAN GIVE ME THE DETAILED CONNECTION ABOUT THE TESTING OF IGBT,PARTICULARLY THE CONNECTION FOR THE IGD+ & IGD-.? CAN YOU GIVE ME USTHE DETAILED MANUAL FOR THIS? KLIFFTON ATLAS COPCO
