inol_ba Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone Im using Sinamics S120 (CU 320 2PN )and Profinet. I have lots of questions.. At the begin I really need to understand what does it mean interface 1F1 or 1F2. What is the difference and mostly where are fisically located ? Thanks !

You can use a optional communication card in CU320-2 (CBE20 for Profinet, CBC10 for CAN), so you have 2 communication Interfaces. But only one IF can be us for Cyclic Data Transfer and Clock Sync Operations (IF1) the other IF is avaiable for Service or Datamonitoring . Regards Christoph

Is it possible to configure the onboard port profibus (IF2) of CU to send data to s7 CPU? like motor temperature, DC link voltage... Thank you.

You should use a GSD for the Profinettelegramms in the HWConfig of the Step7 application. If you use a actual saled CU320-2 with FW V4.x it should be possible to use 2 Interfaces on the same time. How to do it is descriped in the Manual. Regards Christoph
