I was told that there is a serious quality issue with this model. Since october last year they do not sell this model up to now. What is the model with this panel? What is -in details- all quality problems with these panels? Do you have an official document from Siemens that descripe all problems with this panel? isu ..............Since october last year they do not sell this model up to now. Do you mean that this panel phased out from Oct. 2011?

Renaud Houle Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have the exact same problem here, have a KTP400 that the contrast went down a lot and the calibration problem. If I reboot the screen, I'm not even able to press on the control panel button because my press are shifted up by almost an inch. Wich mean I would have to press under the screen to get to touch the control panel button. I've tried everything from adding a giant button on the root screen to enter the calibration (but as MarianMirc said, when the cross get to the bottom of the screen, i clicked the lower I can with the tip of my finger nail but the cross get back to the center) to OS Update with Reset To Factory Default. I've even tried to download the screen as a portrait but it didn't work. Need a solution. In the meantime, I will add the screen of this KTP400 on a working KTP600 on the same network to get around this and not use this KTP400 anymore. Anyone got any luck with this issue? Cheers!

marosm Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, we use KTP400 color instead of KTP400now without any problems. You can replace it with color version, it has the same dimensions, but there's a little problem, it has different display resolution, so you need to modify yourproject. But it's a good solution

Though difficult to reach to the calibration page, (from the control panel and not from the program), the "+"cursor runs back to the centre. The touch effect has shifted to the left by an inch. The extreme left buttons could not be operated. I spoke to local seimens suport and he asked me to check if the Touch screen was not too tightly fitted. Checked the screen and found OK. It took me several hours to reprogam all extreme left buttons to atleast in the middle, so that operator can press in the left, to get the button activated in the centre. Replacing the screen with a new one, is not a good solution either. KTP600 has no USB ports either for mouse connectivity.
