Im trying to get data (it can be string, int, whatever he puts there)  that the user  write on a field io by Script in VB Script Wincc TIA Portal v13.

The problem is I dont know how to create a reference to the data, wrote on the field, from the Script. When I get it, i'll be save it on a txt file, but this part is already made.

I dont know about VB Script but on C we have the function getText f.e:

myTag = FieldIO.GetText(); // I dont know how to do that on VB.

why you need a script and do not just use a tag??

That's a great question, let me answer you.

I created a tag WString, as internal tag of Wincc, and reference it with my field io. But when i try to save the characters that i put int the field io, i culdn't do it. That's means the program didnt save anything. That way im trying now with a script.

Maybe, probably, i made something wrong and cause that didnt work and you can clarify my mind about how to do it.
