Dear Expert I have a very basic question.I have 1200 CPU and G120 drive,I have to take data from drive using profinet and send it using modbus TCP/IP protocol to thrid party controller.I am going to configure it as server ,As 1200 have only one profinet port , Is this configuration will work? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

A network switch between the PLC and the G120 drive will allow you to have more than one network device, like HMI and PG/PC as well as the 3rd party controller connected to the PLC. I hope this is the answer you need.
