No connection to data server" on server PC

The problem is as described below, We have supplied client/server configuration to one of our client. The plant is already commissioned & working fine. We haveretrivedthe projectbackup from siteon my workplace PC & we geta message "no connection to data server" on server project when putting on a runtime on local PC. please suggest a remedy if anyone had faced such kind of problem in past. Pravin Patil India Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi Bheja, I had faced the same problem. But My Wincc Version is V 5.1 In V6.0 onward there is no problem. I got solution by replacing the rt.db of my project. But in this case you will loose the archieved data till date. New fresh archiving will start. If you are also working with V5.0 or V5.1 then write me I will explain you how to replace the rt.db. regards Praveen Patil

Bheja Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Dear Wizard, Iwent thorugh both the FAQs & I run CCArchivemanager.exe -reset all to reset all archive connections. But final result is, i am stillgetting same error. Ialso checked the sql server enterprise manager, in which it shows all archives are linked after putting WinCC project in runtime. regards, Bheja
