Hello,

the _reset function is for the alarms which are present on the TechnologicalObjekt.

The ControlWord bit7 is for the drive to acknowledge present faults on the drive.

If a TechnologicalObject is interconnect with a drive the _resetFunction also set the bit7 in the ControlWord to the interconnected drive.

then you should use  the safety acknowledge path you have configured.
The ControlWord.bit7 and the _reset function are for the functionality which is defined in the PROFIDRIVE profile.

The Safety functionality is defined in PROFISafe and use other acknowledge , here is can be possible that you must acknowledge the errors/Fault message with safety signals from F-DI/F-DO or PROFISafe telegrams.
