S5 CP-C30 conversion

ja1 Posts: 59 Rating: (2)	Hello, I have to make revamping from S5 to S7, exactly client has CP-C30, where can I find a manual or something like this with description which S5 device type correspond to witch S7 device, I was trying to find something on SIEMENS website but without any useful results. I only find a manual: “Step7 From S5 to S7 Converter manual” but I don’t know why, there is nothing about CP-C30. Best regards.

It was discontinued in 1998. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/4292178 If you are upgrading to S7, you will not need any replacement for this card as in all likelihood you will be using WinCC / WInCC Flexible, which do not require any such special cards installed.
