C7-635 - HMI project doesn't start - Connecting to host

Turkey Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear all. I have problem with C7-635. Suddenty HMI project doesn't start. 1. In the beginning we have 3 buttons: "Transfer", "Start", "Control panel". 2. When I press "Start" button or after few seconds automatically, I've gotTransfer window on the screen with message "Connecting to host.." and "Cancel" button. And nothing going on. 3. If I press cancel, I go back to window with 3 buttons (point 1.). And then same. Now I can't to work because there is not possible to manage of PLC. I have successfullyreload HMI project with Protool, but I still have the same: I've gotTransfer window on the screen with message "Connecting to host..", and nothihg goin on. Please, help me to return my C7-635in work. Thank You.

See following link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19701610 Use the option 'Reset to factory settings' (Booting). Then reload HMI project. Best regards, Wizard

Turkey Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Yes, I did it. First when I've got this problem, I've tried to update OS. Before update I've had version of OS6.xxx, after update I've got version of OS7.xxx. It gave me another problem: it changed addressfor OPfrom 0 то 1 so it is not possible to change it back from Control Panel on panel. And I couldn't to download Protool's project to panel. Then I've restored OSback to version 6.xxxfrom CF. But I still have problemdescribed above. I will try to reset panel to factory settings.
