DEAR ALL,

I have a SIMOVERT VC(6SE7032-6EG80) on 3-phase 460v motor on my Kaeser air compressor with the alarm F008 DC LINK UNDERVOLTAGE. The alarm came after the compressor started or when it was running and then all of sudden, shut off the whole compressor. It happened too often. Kaeser threw the ball around and maybe did not know how to solve it. I have the supply voltage quality monitor for a week. No major findings. All the events in that week should not cause any harm to standard electronic equipment.

I and local VFD guys suspect the problem is the DC link/bus, it is about the component inside the VFD.

I am here, asking for professional help. What direction should I go?

Moreover you can have better help if you give more detailed info (e.g. : what is mlfb of your Simovert VC?).

For the F008 fault : 

If you already check supply voltage at inverter input you have to check voltage value read by inverter (using par. r006.)

What voltage value do you read in r006 parameter?
