I have VIPA cpu 315-2AG12 and VIPA DO 322-1BH01. The tor module is dead.

Can I replace it with SIEMENS module 322-1BH01 ? If so, how to configure the new module ?

 It should work , the CPU Vipa should not " notice " of this output module , you do not have to do anything just add, from Vipa manual you can insert Siemens module.

 however compare the two cards as the connections that are equal.

Hello,

There is a difference how the project has been configured. Using WinPLC7 from VIPA or by hardware configuration of Siemens SIMATIC manager. In order to be 'compatible' with Siemens the configuration should be done by using Simatic Manager. The steps are clarified in detail at VIPA manual.

I got a VIPA module(322-1BH01) for testing, it works but the SIEMENS module not working.

The project is 2007 and probably with WinPLC7.

I have STEP7 V5.5

If in HW I only replace this module by Siemens module and load in cpu, is it working ?

Yes, it should works after download the hardware configuration from Simatic Manager.

@UMENSHO : not working.

But I have another issue. I have 2 auther modules(ABB DX 501) are "not recognized by the PLC (the PROFIBUS cable has been well cheked, no problem on that side).

How do I know in simatic manager, as the  DX 501.GSD file is intalled or not ?
