Dear All,

I would like to double check the wiring connection with you guys.

Sinamic DCM connection as below,

1. Connect L1,L2,L3 supply to 1U1,1V1,1W1 (415V)

2. Connect L,N to 5U1,5N1,5W1 (follow manual for 230V)

3. Armature motor connect to 1D1 & 1C1

4. For the field since there are 3D,3C & 3U1,3W1. should I connect the 2 phase 415V from the 1U1&1V1 to the 3U1&3W1?

Then for the field motor, I connect it to 3D &3C?

Is there any control connection I need to connect for the run signal?

Hello.

Yes, you are right, but usually 3U1, 3W1 are connected to a separate AC power supply. Look also at the manual, chapter 6.3 for recommended connections.

Min. control connections you can find in the List Manual, function diagram 2050.

Could I run the Sinamic DCM drive using local set? In other brands, normally I can set it to normal and run it by adjusting the frequency. Can I do it in this drive?

Below is the parameter I need to set for the drive in order to run the motor?

p50100[D] Rated armature current (in amperes)

p50101[D] Rated armature voltage (in volts)

p50102[D] Rated excitation current (in amperes)

p50104[D] Speed n1 (in rpm)

p50078[0] Rated input voltage for converter armature (in volts)

p50078[1] Rated input voltage for converter field (in volts)
