i have a plc , it s identifition  is :s7300 ,ps 307 5A and cpu 314, when i  organise the hard ware and 

i want to down load there is a error says:no other active partner can be found.

it says too:unable to establish aconnection  to the module cpu 314 in the station simatic 300.

i have a  other problem is that i can not  reset   cpu   and  SF LED is on .

Maybe you should change your PG/PC interface - in Step7 -> Options -> Set PG/PC Interface and then you select the proper one

agree with plewandowski. In case of Reset CPU i supose that this CPU has key not switch. Look at some documentation how reset CPU with that key/switch, but if you'll download proper HW cfg and SW, CPU will make self restart.

- firstly you need to determine which adapter you have .

-then determine communication appropriate to you adapter :

                               control panel --> set PC /PG --> MPI (or what you have )

- then you can upload or download after open new file
