I need to generate a report with trend data where the time for the trend data is determined by a bit that toggles at a random interval. So when the bit toggles it signals the beginning of the trend data for the report and then when the bit toggles again it marks the end of the data and automatically generates and prints a report with the trend data. It wouldalso mark the beginning of the next report.This would happen continuously. Typically the amount of time between toggles is anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. I know how to generate a report with the trend data I just don't know how to generate it based on the timing of the bit. Any ideas?

yes it is possile as the first triger comes from plc you pass the present time into 1 tag and on the second trig you pass present time to another tag now as you got the start time and end time .

now make the report format into the scada select the archive tags that you want and on the 2nd trig when you want to get the report give it to the print job of the scada your problem will get sorted
