I collect some information on my PLC and show an HMI whic is MP277 8" touch panel. I set up an eternet connetion HMI and desktop PC. All information I send from HMI to PC. In the HMI side, I create a historic data area and shows the pc' d. All data is comming but some times system ends logging of data.

At this point, how can I set up data log immediately when the comminication set it up again HMI-PC? I try many ways but I didnt it.

Hello bilginer,

you could send a toggle bit from PC to HMI and test it in HMI. If the bit toggles you have a communication with PC and you could use that information to start logging (script).

I use excel for visulation of cvs file on my computer. OPerating system is windows 8. I tried something from panel, i set up a schedule for checking every one hour for connection but it doesnt work.

How you set up the panel to send data (archive log) from the panel to the PC?
