We have some Sinamics drive type: 6SL3320-1TG38-8AA0

In this type there are 3 fans with fuse F10, F11, F20&F21 and fan transformer and internal relay

My question is

1- How this internal relay works

2- Where is the supply of 24vdc? I couldn’t find the wiring of this relay and transformer in catalogs

 3- Is it possible manually starts this fan by STARTER

This motor module works with control unit CU320-DP

As I see when the drive is enable and running this internal relay works and all three fans rotate

Last week we have a problem that two fans didn’t rotate and when the drive works after 5 minutes we had fault drive unit temperature

As you know for finding problem why two fan didn’t rotate you should check with voltmeter while drive is running and is so dangerous because the fan located inside the drive and also I have no wire diagram of this fan and relay and transformer

I want manually start and stop this fans with STARTER while drive is stop

Hello,

relays for fans are switched from X272 connector on PSB (power supply board), which is located on left side of drive. It is together with CIM (control interface module), where are connected all cables from other parts of drive (optical cables, signals from current transformers, etc.). CIM module is mounted on PSB board. 24V power supply is located on this PSB board. 24V is generated from DC link voltage or from pins 1 and 2 in X9 connector, which is under fuses and relays for fans.

So if all fans don't rotate, PSB board could be defective. There is a fuse on this board, but I don't know if it is in power supply circuit, you can check this fuse. Or there could be defective fan relay, fan transformer or wiring between.

Order number for fan transformer is not easy to find without order number of whole drive. You can get list of drive parts entering drive order number to SparesOnWeb system: www.automation.siemens.com/sow.
