For applications with certain mediums a remote seal with two seals will be required. The upper measuring point will only measure the over pressure in the tank. The lower measuring point will measure the over pressure in the tank & the pressure of the level inside the tank. The difference of both measurements will be the level. This is what the transmitter will provide at the output.The SIEMENS solution will be 7MF4433 & 7MF4923. The full order code depends on your application. PILearner Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	The 7MF4433 that you suggested is for the following purpose as prescribed by the catalogue. SITRANS P DS III with HART pressure trans- mitters for differential pressure and flow, How Can I use it for level measurement? I need to use this one because I need two diaphragms, But the doubt taht I have is that it the code and its description in the manual refers to it as a pressure and flow measurement device , so How can i use it for Level measurement ?

Celsius Regular Member Joined: 1/2/2013 Last visit: 7/7/2025 Posts: 38 Rating: (4)	Hello PILearner,If you measure the level in a closed and probably pressurized vessel you will have to measure the static pressure at the upper measuring point and the static pressure & hydrostatic pressure at the lower measuring point. The difference of both will be the hydrostatic pressure (level). This will be the output of your differential pressure transmitter 7MF4433.
