Hello. this is my first time to post my question.

I`m really beginner in plc industry.

My project is i wanna contact my plc device(s7-200 cpu224xp cn) to other soc devices such as raspberry pi or beaglebone black. But as i mentioned, i`m fresh about plc. So i don`t get it even how to get search information.

I just knew RS-485 communication way is the answer. isn`t it? 

Plz let me know how to make them connected.

welcome here, yes, RS-485 is solution for connection to other devices, but there is also Ethernet. For first look at system manual, there are all infos what you need to know for start, so study:

Simply connection depends also on another side device, what communication ports are available, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet. If you have clear idea how connect both devices, start programing. There are so many threads about different solutions in this perfect forum, search via Site Explorer (right up corner of this page input field). Pls consider, that your first steps will be probably establish connection to S7-200 with your PG/PC, so that Simatic system manual is really needed.
