Hallo, I have installed the latest version of Microwin, but PG/PC interface does not recognize USB / PPI Cable 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0. It is win 7. The same cable works normály on old computer with win XP.

Do I have to buy newyer cable?

under PG/PC interface select Access Point - Microwin and Interface PC/PPI cable. Go to properties and under Local Connection select USB. Your cable must be connected in USB before you run PG/PC interface. Give info if you really have this interface in roll-box.

I did not tell that we work on virtual machines.

So on virtual maschine with win xp and microvin v4.0 sp 5  In PG/PC interface I can see PC/PPI cable.

On virtual maschine with win 7 and newly installed v4.0 sp 9 In PG/PC ( 32 bit) I CAN NOT see PC/PPI cable

I do not understand why is in CONTROL PANEL  icon PG/PC ( 32 bit).

During instalation microvin i have not choice to instal drivers.

sry my friend, don't work on virtual. In this case maybe other guys give you info what to do. There is only one batch file that run Siemens service updating all interfaces, this can probably help you (see attachment). Drivers are installed during instalation of Siemens product, you don't need install them manually. Pls give info.
