Hallo,

I‘m using TIA V13 SP 7. I need to create a log file and store it on USB.  I am wondering if on the PLC site I could get the information from Control Panel (TP700 Comfort) with a feedback whether the USB is plug in or not.

Maybe I have to create some VB Script which will run cyclically (ex. every 100ms)?

Any suggestions?

Hello Tym,

here is an FAQ with a script on HMI that checks, if a storage device is available. You could use it to set some PLC tag.
