I'm in trouble getting my S7-200 (224XP) and TP177micro (v1.6.1) to work as needed - I have searched for different FAQ's and tutorials but I still havent understood how the acknowledgment of alarms is working.

In my program I have written logic when the alarm is set, after the alarm is set, it is visualised on my HMI and needs acknowledgment - now the problem is, that the only way I can acknowledge it, is via the alarm view's own ACK button. But I'd like to make my own button somewhere on screen that would function as acknowledgment button.

I have tried choosing the HMI and PLC ack triggers / bit and then setting or resetting them but the alarm doesn't go away before I go to Alarm view and press the ACK button.

Can someone explain to me in style of "explain to me like I'm 5" how does this acknowledgment work if I want to make my own ACK button or acknowledge the alarm via physical input thru S7-200.

Also how can I log the errors - warnings ? Is it even possible with TP177micro, when i make alarm view, I only have Mode: "Simple", I don't have any chance to make "Alarm line" and also the "Logging" radio button is gray so I can't choose that option.

If someone can make quick example project maybe that would atleast work in simulator, this would help me also.

At this point I'm confused in proccess and principle how are the alarms acknowledged - is the acknowledgment bit made for setting or resetting it to make the alarm go away and how can I make alarm acknowledged but not go away in alarm window for instance.
