When I try to configure the connection in TIA Portal (V13) it tells me that the "Communication driver cannot be used with the HMI device" Also, the S7-1500 is not in the list of communication drivers inside the connections portion of TIA Portal Does the S7-1500 support connections to a TP-277? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

But In my own words no you cannot use an automatic integrated connection from a S71500 to a TP277. Yes you can connect them by using a manual connection. Go to the Panel and create a new connection. Use the S7300/400 Driver use Expansion Slot 1. In the Properties of the S71500 go to "protection" -> permit Access...Put Get... Activate this Option. you can now access the PLC but only without a Connection Password and only to non Optimezed Data Blocks. I Hope it helps Bye Murof
