Hi guys!

I am having difficulties to see the CPU status of the S7-1214C DC/DC/DC in my basci panel KTP 400.

I used the "AlwaysTrue" system bit to monitor the CPU status but when I put the PLC CPU in stop mode by using stop command from the TIA Portal, the panel still shows the PLC is ON. This is true for all other boolean variables and also for the AI/AO values. Is there any configuration that I had mistakenly turned on that basic panel retain the last value, while it found that PLC is in stop mode.

Or there is some configuration in PLC project /device configuration that I am missing. 

Is there any other way to monitor the PLC run/stop status in the basic panel?

Both of my program files are in same TIA portal project. 

I am using the TIA potal V13 SP1 UP7.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I think huggy_d1s idea sounds good. Too bad you can't use a script on a basic panel, but you can see if the bits are different.

Actually I find a way to monitor the PLC status by a function list command "GetPLCMode" from basic panel. It gives the output 8 when PLC is on and output 4 when PLC is off. So making an internal tag of UsInt data type in HMI's tag table and use that for the output can give the right status of the PLC. But the disadvantage of this system is someone have to press the button of the event to get the PLC mode. So its not a dynamic monitoring. 

About huggy's suggestion in the other post, exactly, I don't know how to set a bit high in the beginning of the scan cycle and do the vice-versa at the end of the cycle with another bit. This sounds interesting but
