I have a project using Simatic Step 7 5.4 sp3 and WinCC 6.2 sp2 hf 1. This is an integrated project.

The application consists of 5 S7400H plcs, 1 redundant pair of WinCC servers, 2 WinCC clients running Webnavigator, and multiple web clients.

I currently have this set up as a multiproject with the plcs in one and the HMIs (just the servers and WinCC clients) in another. The problem we are having is that every few days (sometimes more often) the WinCCprojects dissapear from my SimaticPC stations. This can be really frustrating since it can take as long as 2 hours to get everything back from when this occurs. The wierd thing is that the Project does not get deleted in the project directory. Only the link to it in Simatic manager goes away.

anybody have a clue as to why this happens?

Yes I have seen this. I am currently running service pack 2 of WinCC 6.2. which should be a higher version than hf 3 of 6.2
