Scout TIA and IM151-F

Davinator Gold Member Joined: 1/4/2013 Last visit: 1/22/2026 Posts: 1197 Rating: (106)	Dear all, we are going to project and realize a new system composed of: 1x 425-2 1x im151-8 F 4 to 8 S120 in drive cliq Clearly the S120 must be driven by the profisafe telegram. I would like to know if exist a guide or an example where to do this under the TIA portal V13 environment and Scout TIA. Also if there are some restrictions or if this is possible with the above mentioned environment.

In Capter 6.3 you find the projecting of safety with F-Proxy which you need for you configuration. at the moment there are no restrictions but what you mean with "4 to 8 S120 in DriveCliQ"? Do you mean motormodules which are connected to the D425-2 on the DQ Ports or external S120 (CU320-2) which are connected wit PROFIBUS/PROFINET? Regards Christoph

So you must extend the DQ with a CX32-2, and yes Scout TIA can handle the CX32-2. Regards Christoph

I will *TRY* to convert the project to scout tia, pray, cross my fingers and if all is ok with HMI, etc then I will integrate the IM151-F using the great chapter 6.3 of that PDF, which seems to be very useful.
