Dear All,

Anyone please help me, how can i display one recipe data ("in string") format to an I/O field.

I have one tool name, which i am entering in String format in Recipe. I have to display this Recipe varialble to an IO Field.

 Set up your I/O field as a string of character length = or greater than the variable.

Please tell me how can i add recipe variable to IO field. I am assigned IO field, and for adding tag for that variable included in recipe not present in tag list.

the way I do it:

1. Create global data block which will hold recipe values, including your string variable (let's say String[32]);

2. Create a recipe with one string element;

3. Point your recipe element to data block string variable;

4. On HMI screen put I/O field, change output type to string of length 32 (or whatsoever);

5. Run HMI - string variable from recipe DB will be displayed on I/O field.

 Dear List.

The tag which you defined as a recipename should be defind in plc datablock for holding that name.

Because if you define the tag as a internal then when you terminate the RT and again go in to runtime then recipename field shows blank value..

So it is required to Define the tag in the PLC.
