E on PMU display transfered to another drive

M.abdelkader Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Dear all; Two days ago we had a problem while installing a new drive(stored for a long time). After the installation its PMU displayed "E" only and the OP didn't find it's address . We suspected in the CUVC and got another working one from another drive , but the E appeared also on the new CUVC so we returned it back to its original drive , unfortunately the E appeared on the drive. Where is the problem and how the "E" error transfered to the second drive? We got a new CUVC and installed it on the second drive but the problem of "E" still exist !!! Can you suggest what should i do to solve this problem with the least amount of losses??

Normally, only two things cause 'E' to be displayed on a PMU. 1/. You have activated the Firmware mode with a Bootstrap (or a switch on your cable) 2/. The PSU is defective Can Drivemonitor discover/connect to the CUVC? Regards, Graeme
