I am using a few Sinamics G120C drives in my project.
When I do a full download on my CPU I get a setpoint timeout error on all my drives. (attachment)

Is it possible to bring up the alarms to my KTP900 basic panel and also acknowledge them on my panel?

The solution you posted is to manage the alarms directly between HMI - Drive trough communication.
I do have a CPU in the network to manage everything, so isn't there a user friendly way to do this?

I have:

HW:
- CPU 1510SP PN
- KTP900 Basic PN
- G120C PN

SW:
- TIA Portal V13 SP1

I just want to generate the alarms on the HMI panel and acknowledgde them from the panel.

Unfortunately it gets worse....

The Basic Panels only support one driver, which I assume is your S71500.  The Basic Panels also do not support scripting.  So forget connecting directly to the drives.

Best you can do is bring back the fault code and display in your HMI. 

Really? How?  I cannot get a TP700 Basic Panel to communicate to both a S71200 and a SIMOTION D.  If I could do that, my life would be SO much simpler and could get rid of 200 bytes of I-device data.

I have found that BASIC panels can use multiple drivers of the same type, ie multiple S7's, but not of mixed types.

Yeah Jeff or, wait, let me tell you my experience:

One year ago,Tia 13.0, 700 BASIC was abile to comunicate with a d425-2 and 2 inverters g120c. Unfortunately i had 10 g120 and the 700 has a limited connection number which the comfort doesn't.

10 days ago by mistake i has a 700 BASIC and in my hmi i was able to communicate with d410-2 and im151-8.

What I did ? Nothing special : when u create an edit field For a tag you just link simotion tag or im151 tag, without troubles...

Where you got anyerror ?

System with S71200, D435-3PN, G120, KTP700 Basic + some remote I/O. (TIA V13sp1)

Can do an HMI connection to either the S71200 or the SIMOTION, but not both (get a red invalid connection for one of them).

I attached what I run in to.  If I add HMI_Connection_2 (to SIMOTION), I get an invalid connection to my PLC HMI_Connection_1.

If I change the HMI device to a Comfort Panel, I can have both drivers active but not with my Basic Panel.
